Daytime to evening sequins

I appreciate the subtlety of this cream colored sequined tee - it feels light, summery, and very daytime friendly. With a blazer thrown over it, I wore it to work, and then in the evening, ditched the jacket and grabbed a fun clutch.

This sequined aztec clutch is my newest addition - I snagged it for a mere $10 at TJMaxx (about 85% off retail) though it's available at Amazon for a not-too-terrible $30.

I finished off the look with my Rocksbox set - I really loved this House of Harlow necklace, the turquoise stones were lovely. I also enjoyed the Charlene K bracelet, though both pieces were $100+ and over my budget, so I did not keep them. Rocksbox is currently having a sample sale through the 14th and the necklace is there - reduced to $44 - only it's with black stones. Still a little tempting though.

Pina Colada Day

July 10th is National Pina Colada Day, and it's a holiday I for one, would like to partake in.

I feel like I've said more than once that I'm still waiting for the summer to start, yet, here we are into July. Summer has started, so what am I waiting for? There was shortcake, fireworks, picnics, pesto... this is it, and it's time I got into the summer state of mind.

Turn up the brightness

Much unlike the blank canvas of a simple grey dress, this bold floral frock needs little adornment. Being such a statement piece, it also makes it a struggle to remix, and having had it for two years, this is only the fourth time I've worn it.

While looking back at the previous stylings of this dress I started scrolling through my 2013 summer posts, and I must say, I had some great outfits that summer. Would anyone mind if i just duplicated them all?
