Stopping traffic

Literally. I stepped out to the edge of the road and the cars stopped to let me jaywalk. I did it three times just to be sure, and one time it was a cop. I'm not sure if that counts less or more. Either way, this is by far the brightest, most neon, most traffic stopping blazer in existence and for once I'm grateful that I'm single, because I know if I had a boyfriend he'd be full of backhanded comments about looking I should be directing traffic or working on the side of the road.

No, I can revel in the obscene brightness of the blazer in peace.

  1. I love that we are both wearing neon in our posts. Also, boyfriends do NOT get the neon thing so you are super lucky that there wasn't one there to make snarky comments.

  9. Stopping a cop car is like, ten people. So you totally stopped traffic 12 times, Lyddie. That blazer does seem like quite the traffic stopper, though, and I love how you didn't stop with the neon with it alone--the way your blazer follows the lines of the neon on your skirt is just perfect, planned or not!

Keep on doin' your thing. Just don't get run over. :)

  12. Beautiful blazer... but I am all for the dress !
Amazing pattern and i just realized it's actually a short sleeve dress and that you layered it with a long sleeve top underneath. I can only tell because you the list of garments worn.
AND i think you would still stop traffic sans the jacket:)

  29. Aside from the fact that it's really cute, there are obvious benefits to have a traffic stopping blazer - you should just keep it in your car in case you're ever running late and don't have time to get to a crosswalk! Absolutely love your dress, it's not a print I would normally expect to be attracted to but it pulled me in right away - you wear it beautifully :)

  36. This is totally my style! I love neons.Target has a very similar blazer, that's where I thought it was from at first glance. How much was it? A neon blazer has been on my spring wish list, I just might have to get one from jcp.

  37. Loooove the blazer! And that dress is fabulous - I love the slight drop-waist on it.

There are so many things in my closet that Josh gives me grief about, but I bet he would never let me hear the end of it if I bought a blazer like this one :)
