Blowin' in

A huge storm was passing by, but fortunately on the tiniest bit reached me. Some huge winds, dark clouds, a few minutes of rain, and now I'm watching a pretty sunset.

Sometimes I like to look at all the previous ways I've worn a certain article, and I happened to notice I wore this dress on July 14th last year. I styled it pretty much the same too, haha.

  6. Is that your house in the background? If so, when can I move in? It looks so cute!

You styled it simply on both occasions, and, on both occasions, you look wonderful! You haven't changed very much. I dug up a picture of me from last year this time and I look totally different. Well, just a different hair color, I guess. But you know. It makes a big difference.

  8. I was in New York last year and it was bloody hot. There were all these Manhattany women walking around in their heels and little silky dresses. They looked cool and chill and really put together and amazing. I looked like a wrung out wash cloth. Today you look just like those girls and I'm happily envious!

  9. I love this color. I have a blouse from Gap that I think is the same shade of plum. It is years old but I will wear it until it shreds! It's just so warm and flattering. Love the styling with the necklace - looks really elegant.

  18. I think I have this -- or a very similar gap dress! -- from ages ago. I used to wear it all the time, even when pregnant. Might need to locate this again. Great styling!

Anyway, I love it when I look at archives to discover I wore the same thing around the same time! It's a great look--that dress looks so pretty AND comfy!

  34. I recently went to Anthropologie and had a look at the jewelry, but I didn't see anything as cool as the Stormy Sea necklaces. Did get a cool belt on sale though.

Catching up during insomniac time... so many blogs to read, I can never go away again!
