I love this J.Crew dress, the colors felt so perfect for the fall when I paired it with leopard, while the bright teals and purples smoothly transition into spring with the simple addition of a white shoe. I'm really happy with these white Target mules. I've been reaching for them non-stop, because they have a low enough heel to be walkable, and are neutral, but still make a statement. They are on clearance for $14, so if your size is in stock, you probably can't go wrong.

Ooo this is the perfect spring teaser outfit! I have to admit though that when I go to Florida and I can wear spring stuff, I can't get the Midwest out of me! I always am wearing tights and darker colors because I was taught seasonal fashion rules!

I still want that dress! Such a great floral, and in my colors!

Love those white mules - they're definitely a statement shoe and the price is great, especially when you consider that, because of the colour, they might not last in pristine shape all that long (well, on me they definitely wouldn't).

I passed on buying those mules when I was at Target in November and every time I see you wear them, I regret it. Every pair the store had in my size had a small manufacturing flaw, which made me question their quality overall and ultimately lead to my decision to leave without them. But now that I think back, I know that no one would know about those flaws but me and I could be the owner of a stylish and comfortable pair of shoes. Ah well, live and learn, I suppose. I'll just have to live vicariously through seeing you style yours ;)

That is such a cute floral dress and I love the denim jacket with it - it's a combo I wear a lot in spring and autumn, a denim jacket is a nice layer to add to a pretty dress. And of course the florals here are perfect for spring, haha!
ReplyDeleteYou already know my thoughts on dressing for blog posts vs dressing for the weather - I can't do it and I have no idea how people can, I wouldn't be able to hide my discomfort well enough in photos, haha!
Hope that you had a great weekend :) I just posted my weekday wear linkup, I'd love you to join! :)

Your bag is definitely my favorite part of this entire outfit - though I love it all. Has me craving springtime hehe!

I love that dress (I have a top in the same print!) You transitioned it perfectly for Spring too!
ReplyDeleteIt is so funny how different climate people dress differently for the same exact temps. Like in the Mid-West 55-60 is considered super warm and totally Springy and we would wear outfits exactly like your pretty floral dress (love the bag and shoes, by the way). While the Floridians and Californians would be in parkas in 60 degree weather lol.
ReplyDeleteWelcome by Thursday and link up with me, dear Lydia. =))
I would take sunny and 55 in a heartbeat! It's all relative though :) This look is one of my favorite combinations for spring: a floral dress and a jean jacket. Those mules are so fun too!
ReplyDeleteI love this combo on you dear, casual and feminine. The dress is so pretty on you too.
