Coatigan

One of the sweaters I picked up at the Tanger Outlets is this grey plaid, coatigan. At least I think that is what we are calling oversized cardigans these days. I might be wrong, but this sweater is so right. It's super warm and cozy and just what someone who is perpetually cold like me needs.

This weekend I have some exciting plans, I'm going to see Steve Martin and Martin Short, "An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life". While I may be up in the cheap seats, as soon as I heard about the show (while listening to NPR, see, I'm old) and found out it was at a completely reasonable time, date, and venue to fit into my life right now, I didn't hesitate to buy tickets. A good step towards getting out there and not missing out.

    This sweater (coatigan just feels too weird for me to say) looks so cozy! I love it. I find oversized cardigans quite challenging to wear, actually, being petite, as I find I tend to look like I'm being swallowed up by them, but the cut of this one just perfect on you. And belting it was a great idea, I'm definitely going to try that with one of mine to see what kind of difference it might make. It sounds like you have a wonderful weekend ahead - and I hope we get to hear about Steve Martin and Martin Short on Monday :)

    That cardi is beautiful on you, I love it belted and it looks so cosy! :)

    I have a similar cardigan and I know what you mean by 'coatigan', even though I'd never heard that before! It's definitely thick and cosy enough to wear as a coat :)
