In between even more snow storms, we did have one lovely 40° day, and the spring like weather inspired me to wear a little more color than I have been lately, this bubblegum pink skirt. I also took out my cream Linea Pelle bag I've been hiding away these past few months, but still kept warm with a merino wool sweater I found at Marshalls for a mere $25, and my favorite leopard coat.

The pink and leopard are so pretty together! The macaroon making sounds like fun (but I bet eating them was more fun)!

Code Overdressed
You know, I've been perfectly content to wear nothing but neutrals since September - but the other day I woke up craving periwinkle and today I have pink on the brain. It's just something about this time of year, I think, and the itch for spring. With that said, I wasn't sure how to transition pink, this definitely still being winter - I can now officially say that I will be taking inspiration from this leopard and pink combination, which is so unexpected but works beautifully :)

Aw, your get together sounds like so much fun! And I love your pink skirt. I always tend to shy away from pinks (for no real reason, actually) but this looks just stunning on you.

Pretty as always! I love the bright skirt
ReplyDeleteI love pink no matter what people say about it and at the moment I wish I had few more items in my wardrobe in pink. For stripes I have soft spot as well and it always hard to say no. Oh, and about leopard print coat and pumps I'm dreaming, but it's very hard find coat, because it usually too big for me because I'm just 1.64m. About pumps I have as well vision which I haven't found in reality. I'm so delighted to see how you paired all these gorgeous piece in such a wonderful look.
