How to wear white denim in the winter

As I've mentioned, white is my favorite color. It gets a lot of flack for not being a 'slimming' shade, and while white denim might be the furthest thing from you mind right now, it doesn't have to be.

Forget about those antiquated 'labor day rules', and forget about the massive amounts of carbs and candy which have been consumed over these past few weeks; these skinny jeans (made in the USA!) have been designed to be extremely slimming (everything from fabric content to placement of pockets), and if that isn't enough on its own, I have a couple styling suggestions on how to keep everything hidden; the sequined peplum being my favorite, of course.

    I agree that the Labor Day rule is silly and you can wear white year round.

    This post comes in right in the exact moment! Last night was putting together some outfits for the weekend and came across my white jeans, and thought of a cool outfit with them but got a bit scared, left it on the maybe rack. Thanks to you I want to wear it now! Am I that influenceable? ... I love the peplum look too, but is so cold right now that I think the cute printed cardi would be a better option for me, I just cant resist oversized ones!

    There is no way I would dream of putting my white denim away for winter - once I finally took the plunge, I realised what I had been missing and there was no way I would put them away for six months! Although I guess black skinnies are more slimming, I never think white ones make me look that much bigger... But just in case, that cosy cardigan would be a lovely addition to my wardrobe!

    I have ALWAYS worn my white jeans when it was NOT trending because in Oregon the uniform for man woman and child is blue jeans. I REFUSE to follow the pack so I always wore white. Not that it is OKAY I have stopped wearning jeans altogether.
