They were my least favorite because they were terribly painful to wear, yet I'd put up with them for years. Well no more. They went out with my closet clean out this past weekend, and this is the last you will ever see of them.
Now I just need to find a comfortable replacement...

The colors and pattern of this dress are amazing! I think the boots are pretty too, but there's no sense in keeping uncomfortable footwear. I mean, our precious feet take us everywhere day in and day out, usually without complaining, so when they do pipe up it's probably reasonable to listen :)

ReplyDeleteI love purple in the fall SO MUCH. I just had the same problem with the boots I'm wearing in my "cape" post. I don't understand why they are so uncomfortable around the ankles. I haven't given up on them JUST yet but am pretty close.

I'm in love with that dress and especially those colors paired with the painful boots! But good for you getting rid of them... I can do a pretty mean closet purge, but I'm just miserable at getting rid of shoes, no matter how painful they are! Attachment issues...

Sorry to hear your boots are so uncomfortable, but I think you made the right choice in giving them away. I had to do the same with several pairs of heels that were just too uncomfortable and unpractical.
