Little white dress

I've been on the hunt for a white dress all summer, so I was pretty ecstatic when this little beauty turned up on the clearance rack at T.J. Maxx.

While I'd been hoping to find something along the lines of a cotton fit-and-flare style dress, one thing I've learned over the years is that I never find what exactly I'm looking for until after I've already gotten something else!

Since this dress was only $27, when my fit-and-flare shows up, I'll happily buy that too. You can never have too many little white dresses, I say.

    Oh, that's a gorgeous lace dress, Lyddie! I especially love how there's just about an inch or two at the bottom where you can see through the lace patterning. That hem is gorgeous and I love how "big" (??) the lace is.

    Your heels are so cute, too! I haven't noticed those before.

    It's hard to find perfect white and black dresses. Just when you think you find a good one you stumble across more and more. Just the other week I bought another black dress but it's so different from other black dresses so!? I need it?! aaarg

    Another good reason to love TJMaxx, that little lace dress is just adorable! I'm looking for a perfect white dress and still nothing, I need like a simple one so I can accessorise and wear with blazers and lots of jewelry, but I'm also looking for a cute lace one just like yours, so pretty!

    I TOTALLY agree! I hunted for the perfect one and ended up with half a dozen. LOL This one is PERFECT, in my opinion. I love the soft lacy details and the fit. Gorgeous!

    I love this dress! Even though it isn't exactly what you were looking for, what a great find!! Your shots of the lace are stunning, too. I can't wait to see how else you style this one. You could totally rock that in fall with black tights and boots.

    A fit and flare would be really great, but I really like the extremely summery feel of this one.
