Since I think pairing flats with a pencil skirt is one of the most challenging looks to pull off and not appear short, (because I am short) that is what I'm wearing for this feature.
I hope you will go check it out, and thanks for having me, Sam!

I agree I can't wear heels all day every day. Those flats look so comfortable. I need a new pair myself. Love how you tied your top makes this outfit look super feminine and chic.
ReplyDeleteI think you pulled off the flats with a pencil skirt perfectly! I agree, it is so hard to wear the two together (luckily I only have 2 pencil skirts...and one is denim so it doesn't count, ha ha)

I don't really ever wear heels (which may explain why I also usually don't wear pencil skirts because, you're right, that's a tricky one) so I love a good flats look - and I think you totally nailed this!

Love this look and the yellow flats.
ReplyDeleteI will never be a flats girl - I can't help it. But I must admit, when it comes to taking dynamic outfit photos, like that brilliant one of you jumping, you can't beat them :) I suppose I'm slowly coming around and maybe when I do, I'll come around to colour, too? I do love the bright yellow shade of the pair you're wearing!

Love the color combination you did! Very cute "end of summer" chic.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you took the pencil skirt and flats route. It is a challenging one to fellow shorties like myself! I love the way your look turned out. The colors are great all together!
ReplyDeleteI adore flats!!! I love them. Great top and the flats are cute.

Sweet ballet flats!
ReplyDeleteSo chic and classy! You pulled off the flats and pencil skirt look so perfectly, it does tend to shorten the legs, but you did it so in style, love the way you knotted the shirt!

Can we PLEASE be closet buddies? I might need to lose weight before but omg I want everything you own. Especially that skirt!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this shirt and those flats are amazing! Definitely a flats girl for running errands and on Mondays (my feet are not ready for heels again haha)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for contributing! Love the pop of yellow!
ReplyDeleteP.S. All other flats lovers are welcome!

Love the yellow flats! I prefer to wear heels with pencil skirts too but I think this outfit looks great with flats! It's definitely a more comfortable option!

Love those mustard flats, I used to have a pair that color and they were my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI don't know where I'd be without flats, honestly! Ballet slippers and oxfords are pretty much my life. Love your yellow flats!

I love ballet flats. I keep a pair at my desk and always take a pair with me when I travel for work (like in my purse to trade shows or meetings - because you never know when your feet will start protesting).
ReplyDeleteThe yellow accents are great in your outfit!
Love that plaid button down! And the fact that it's thrifted is amazing! I need to step up my thrifting skills (or lack thereof). This yellow/mustard and navy combo looks fab on you!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

Away From Blue
Plaid, plaid, plaid! That plaid shirt makes me really want fall to be here. I love how all your yellow accessories pull out the nearly undetectable yellow shades in your shirt. Pretty look, Lyddie!
ReplyDeleteI think this looks great! I am loving that plaid top, especially with yellow!
ReplyDeleteLove the flats with that top. Totally nautical and perf!!
ReplyDeleteThat plaid shirt looks so cute tied! I definitely wear flats more often than I wear heels (even though I could certainly use the height!).

ReplyDeleteI like flat but am so tired of them now because they're all I've been wearing. Need this sprain to finish healing!

ReplyDeleteI randomly love the simplicity of this look. The shoes are so cute. You always look great! :)
