For whatever reason, rainy day outfits always seem to befuddle me. Perhaps it's because I do not like to wear those rain booties (yes, they are ankle height) that I was so enthusiastic about all those years ago and do not presently own any other rain boots.
Perhaps it is just because I hate the rain and wish that I didn't ever have to go out in it.
Either way, colored denim saves the day again.

I certainly would have never guessed that you don't care for rain days based off of this outfit! I tried on a pair of ankle rainboots and I didn't like how they felt so I don't blame you for not wanting to wear them.
ReplyDeleteSuper, super cute outfit and I seriously adorable that anchor belt!
Rain or no rain, your outfit is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteRed jeans are pretty perfect and this is a great outfit - rainy or not!

Haha, trying to find the perfect pair of rainboots is so difficult. With heels? Silly ones? There are so many options. One day we just both need to invest in some nice Hunter ones in a bright and delicious color.
ReplyDeleteRainboots or not, your red pants are quite cheery for the gloomy days we've been seeing. And those stripes! I love those stripes.
This is a great rainy day look, nothing like a bright pair of pants to brighten up a cloudy day.
ReplyDeleteyou are seriously the best thrifter in the whole wide world (ok, at least my blogging world). I love that trench - and your bun today is beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been foggy here too...ugh! Love the look; especially those thrifted pieces. :-)

eh, better rain than snow, I always say!
ReplyDeleteI wore an outfit very similar to this the other day, so naturally, I love this ;) Dressing for rain genuinely is hard - getting wet makes you cold, so instinct says dress warmly, but the weather when it rains isn`t actually cold... I used to live in the Pacific Northwest, I could go on on this subject for days!

Ugh, I always have trouble with taking pictures in the rain, I haven't figured out how to focus the camera in it yet. ;P I really love how you mixed the classic trench and denim shirt with the bright red skinnies, it ends up being such a great classic outfit with a little bit of fun!

All this gray weather has been such a drag. They are calling it a "wintery mix" here in NYC. That said, I adore the anchor toggle on your belt. So cute!
