I do love these mustard cords though and could not let this outfit go unblogged. Fortunately, pretty much everything goes with mustard, so they are an easy go-to in the cooler months.
My sister criticized me for letting my curls get all frizzy that day, but first of all, I think frizz is unavoidable and they looked fine; second, I love how the sunlight casts that warm glow on the frizz, like a golden halo.

Yeah, frizz is generally unavoidable. It does look cool with the light shining through it. Seriously, you got the sun at an amazing time. I love mustard and navy together (unless the blazer is brown?) and with pink it's pretty much perfection.
ReplyDeleteI ALWAYS wish that my photos would be this good... I can just wish, though. hahah. Love that clutch, Lydie!

When I first read this, I was thinking you'd ACTUALLY have frizzy hair, but goodness no! Your hair looks quite lovely. They would purposely do hair like this during the days of black and white film so that it would catch the light behind the actresses and give them dimension. I say it looks fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteAs do those fab cords! :)

Love the colors and your lighting here. Agreed on frizz--unless you've got incredibly strong hair that never breaks, it's inevitable. (Also I don't think it looks so bad in photos, especially if it's backlit like that.)
