In my mind, bracelets are exclusively summertime jewelry, as soon as the air starts to turn cold, the last thing you want is metal around your wrists bound to turn icy the moment you step outside, and once gloves become necessity, the hassle of getting them on around a bracelet is too much to even bother.
So while the bracelet wearing conditions are still optimal, I'm piling them on.

Pile on the bracelets, girl! And how cute is that clutch?! It looks like cotton candy.

I totally agree with you on bracelets. Once it gets cold out you're covering your arms so no one can even see your arm candy. Definitely wear them while you can.
ReplyDeletei'm still so obsessed with that necklace haha. great skirt too

I am also in love with your necklace! I always start out with bracelets and end up taking them off throughout the day. I can't type with them for some reason. Your clutch is pretty too. It looks like a watercolor or tie dye?
ReplyDeletelove how you tranform a simple outfit into a fabulous head turning one:) i cant wait to see your take on the red skirt and printed blouse :)
ReplyDeletethe other day i was at old navy looking for 'seafoam sunnies'.. :( couldnt find it, was so diasppointed, i actually went and splurged on some designer sunnies.. still, i am not satisfied...aaarrggghh
LOVE this outfit! :D Especially that skirt :)

Do I detect a bit of curl in your hair? It looks good. And I love the location of these shots
ReplyDeleteI just read about the incident- how awful! I hope your camera recovers quickly (and that its treatment isn't too expensive.) I admire all bloggers who take their own photos, since I have a photographer and would be lost without one, so you get even more sympathy from me :( You got some great shots before the beach disaster, though. I absolutely adore your navy skirt, and you've paired it with the perfect subtle white top that really allows it to shine :)

I never realised that bracelets do get cold when it's winter :D
ReplyDeleteI am so bad, I buy bracelets and bangles but hardly wear them :(
i love how you tied the shirt! the knotted shirt is really coming back this summer and you did it perfectly! and what a cute bangle. $7 is a great deal!

You are definitely right. Bracelets are too cumbersome when all I'm concerned with is keeping my core temperature above freezing. But speaking of which, your necklace looks like beautiful snow drops!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you have tied the tee.
ReplyDeleteI am totally your opposite when it comes to bracelets. Since I hate being hot but I get hot easily, I don't wear much jewelry in the summer. Your necklace would be my pick in jewelry and that would be for year round. I have a couple of black tops that necklace would be perfect for.
ReplyDeleteim a huge fan of that necklace! and your clutch is cute!

Very nice outfit. You are so right about bangles, even when its not too cold, they just don't go as well in winter. I love your necklace, don't think I could pull it off, but looks great on you.

Lovely! You put together an outfit that is breezy and perfect for summer.
ReplyDeleteI never thought of it but, indeed bracelets are a summery accessory. I cannot imagine that COLD metal against my skin on a snowy morning.... brrrr!
ReplyDeleteBracelets are somehow more fun in warm weather :)
ReplyDeleteI love the white necklace on white tee - you look great.
Great summer outfit! Your new bracelet is super pretty and I love the white-on-white effect of your top with the necklace. Very chic!

I am a huge fan of bangles and cuffs and all other wrist accessories so this is just scratching me right where I itch!

LOVE the bracelet. Bracelets are good ways to spice up an outfit without totally changing your look.

Is that a new Kie & Kate necklace or... maybe it's just the light? And you totally needed to have that bangle. New nail polish too?
ReplyDeleteI love this entire outfit. But I'm seriously in love with that necklace. The bangles are pretty great too. See? I love it all. I can't pick one thing over the other. You nailed it again.

Your skirt is super cute. It goes great with this whole outfit. I adore all the accessories!

the things you never think about in florida: avoiding bangles bc of cold metal. it's just like hot and hotter here!
ReplyDeleteAdorable look! Love the necklace, skirt, and clutch.
ReplyDeletei feel ya on the cold bracelets. though, i don't really even wear them in the summer. i just don't like having things around my wrist. makes me feel funny...
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, jewelry can make me feel too hot, so I tend to wear more bracelets in the fall and winter than in the summer. That being said, I've got two bracelets on as i type this comment... ahahah!
ReplyDeleteyour bracelet logic is very true. trying to slip a bracelet over a glove is a hassle and half. Love that you are keeping on with the knotted blouse look!
ReplyDeleteThat picture with your hair blowing in the wind is perfect, love it!

I wear bracelets very rarely, but I always like the way they look on other people. For some reason, they bug me and I notice them being there more than I do with other jewelry items. Anyway, I like that one! Also, did you get a second "stormy sea" necklace or is it just the lighting that makes it look lighter in color?
ReplyDeleteYesssss pile those bracelets on. And loving that picture with the chain!
ReplyDeletexo,
C
I know the bracelets are the main subject of this post, but I am loving that necklace. I think I need more statement necklaces, definitely.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you have the white "Stormy Sea" necklace and what a great deal for that bracelet. I think you started a trend with the knotted blouse. I love that skirt!
ReplyDeleteVery cute outfit!!
that is funny that you don't consider winter bracelet weather
ReplyDeletei am a bracelet freak and wear them all the time
also it doens't get very cold here so i have never experienced frozen bracelet syndrome lol
brett
