When I mentioned cleaning out my closet I said I got rid of all my cropped cardigans. Well I lied. I had to keep this one. I'm not wearing it the way it was intended to be worn however, which is wrapped.
I've had it for about seven years, but the last time I wore it was December 2009, so I'm wearing to to reset the "Haven't Worn it in a Year" clock. If that makes sense. Although I'm not fond of cropped cardigans, I'm quite partial to these adorable birds and bright colors.
I love that I took this shot right when some snow was falling off a tree branch.
I've discovered that I really like matching my tights to my skirt/dress. Is that something you've ever tried? Am I as cool as I think I am?

I love the matchy tights-dress look! And that sweater is TO DIE FOR!!!! You do look as good as you think you look! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are very, very cool. I would like to match my tights to my dress, but I've only ever done it with black, which I don't think counts. It's hard for me to find tights that fit my 6-foot frame in colors that match my dresses. I love it on you though - I'll just have to try harder.
ReplyDeleteVery spring-y look! It makes me dream of puddles mud and daffodils!
ReplyDeletelove how you wear the cardigans with belt....
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful! Aren't you freezing???
ReplyDeletei love all the beautiful spring colors in this outfit! the yellow dress is super pretty and i will have to try matching tights to my dresses. i think it really elongates your figure and makes you look really svelte. as for the cardigan, the pink color is really fabulous and the embellishments in the front are darling. i'm really glad you kept this cardigan!
ReplyDeletecute and little
That is it! No more black for me!
ReplyDeleteI love this, I really do!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, so pretty! I have a similar yellow dress and tights, I might have to try a look like this :)
ReplyDeleteYellow and pink are always so cheerful together! Especially in the middle of winter!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are gorgeous! I think the sunny background really makes the difference. I haven't seen the sun in ages...oh, how I miss it!
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow dress. Like another commenter said, it's so cheerful, especially in the dead of winter!

Such a cheerful and pretty outfit. I do like how you paired your tights with the dress, don't think I could pull that off! I am glad you didn't get rid of the cropped cardigan, the embroidery is beautiful!

much love.
I love the embroideried birds on this cardi! Love the sunny yellow dress too. It's like a ray of sunshine in a snow filled day! Cheesy, but true! You look cute!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that cardigan, and the way you've belted it makes it look unique. I have never matched my tights to my dress or skirt...well, besides a LBD and black tights (but that doesn't count). If I decide to do it, I think I will be one walking shade of whatever color I pick out. I don't care if I end up looking like a blueberry!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great one! I love that photo with the snow. Yellow week has really been brightening up my week (ha) but for serious, your photos have made me feel less drab and gloomy!
ReplyDeleteYou look like a dream :)
