The lace dress makes me feel as though I were at a party and caught a chill and a gentleman offered me his jacket.
So that didn't really say 'Office' to me and I decided to give it even more of a menswear feel with oxfords and play up the 'office' elements with a simple bun and tiny pearl studs.
Hopefully I don't look like I was out all night partying and running to work in my same dress because it's all I had to wear...

That lining is super fun!
ReplyDeletethe stripeyness of your blazer is awesome! and i like how you've concocted a whole scenario for your outfit. :)
ReplyDeleteThis dress is incredible and one can see that even from a distance but what I like about the blazer is that it is subtle and very stylish...all those thin stripes and the hot pink lining really does it for me. :) It's a great piece Lyddie.

What a lovely outfit. Great blazer, great dress. You look adorable.
ReplyDeleteWhoaaaa I love the lining!! I don't think anyone would have looked at you and thought craaaaaazyyy partier she totally wore that out last night (although I'm pretty sure people think that about me sometimes)-- the bun and the pearls and oxfords ground the dress. I like the cool stripes on the blazer too, just noticed that in the last photo!
ReplyDeleteI love the very girly dress with the more structured jacket. The way you describe it is perfect and rather romantic!
