Be My {own} Valentine

Valentines are never easy for the single gal. Especially for those who are celebrating their sixth Valentine's Day alone. It's hard to see the day as anything more than a cruel reminder of your singleness.

I woke up this morning feeling sick, so I'd be lying if I said I wore this outfit for much more than ten minutes. But it is my V-Day outfit, and today is the start of The Small Fabric of My Life's five day Capsule Challenge; so I'm posting it anyway. I really spent the majority of my day in pjs, in bed with all my numerous single gal boyfriends.

Michael Weston. Used to be a spy. Knows how to wear a suit. Can pretty much do anything, including igniting the flames of my heart.

Chuck Bartowski. Computer geek who's best friend (portrayed by the next sexy man on my list) put the CIA's secrets into his head. Subsequently became a Spy. Knows how to rock a suit, but always stays true to his nerdyness with a pair of Chucks.


Niel Caffrey. Reformed criminal working for the FBI. Suits were made for him. Looks amazing in a fedora. Never gets hat hair (and has the most gorgeous hair ever). Also looks good in nothing at all.
Oh yes.
In addition to these amazing gentlemen, I have two other boyfriends; Mail Man and UPS Man. They bring me gifts from all my secret admirers (aka ME). I may have went a little overboard, but what can I say? I'm single and no one else is going to spoil me.

    You are such a pretty girl, there is someone out there for you. I didn't get married until I was almost 30 and I'm 37 now.

    Love the pencil skirt and seychelles. I got my first pair today and they are amazing!

    I LOVE Burn Notice, I seriously have seen every.single.episode!!! And I wouldn't be upset about Valentine's Day...I used to say my friends were my valentine's and we all had a blast together on this day...I kindda miss it!

    Happy Valentine's Day to you. I too, am a single gal this holiday. I mailed sweet cards to my closest gal friends. Maybe if we, the single gals, own the holiday as a time to show loved to all of our loved ones, it won't seem so lonely.

    Lyddie happy Valentine's days, those guys are surely handsome, I like the geek one the most. I know it's hard being single, after my 8th year I thought it was time to not worry so much about it and enjoy the day just like anyone, eat a fancy dinner with my son, excersice and go grocery shopping for 2 hours (rolling eyes) but after that I am enough tired to not think about it anymore. I think I could say it was a nice day for me today even though I didn't get any roses or stuff like that. I also been shopping and I don't feel guilty about it anymore. =D Take care and don't forget you are a very beautiful girl, the right man will come along.

    Michael! A girl after my own heart (although my favorite character is the mother). I really really like your tights, love patterns but I have the worst luck with finding them. I can't wait to see how you wear your new things!

    I really like the off white with the black. It's softer and prettier than white with black in my opinion.
