"I keep reminding her," they said, "that it doesn't matter how many hours she puts in, there will always be work tomorrow. She can never actually finish everything. That's how it works." We were really young back then but that principle always seemed very wise to me and it's something I remind myself when I start to get bogged down in trying to "finish" my to-do list. There will always be something to add. Finishing is, more or less, a myth. It brings me a bit of peace. Although no as much as bare ankles and no coat in February would bring me!
xox,
CeeCeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08822990898186192908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3551650242422472428.post-22789779953736086572020-02-17T23:10:48.220-05:002020-02-17T23:10:48.220-05:00I totally feel you. It probably has to do with limited daylight and feeling like it's almost bedtime right after work, so all of those little to-dos keep snowballing.

You look great, though, and you're making me yearn for spring!

http://bedknobsandbaubles.com/Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12642006325218487200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3551650242422472428.post-14692523863369657572020-02-14T20:22:29.687-05:002020-02-14T20:22:29.687-05:00You are so, so right. I tend to get really stressed out when I have a whole series of small tasks, etc that need doing in a way that's not healthy and not at all productive. I love the idea of making them into a mental pile and just working my way through it in a way that doesn't diminish my joy in the moment.

Courtney ~ Sartorial SidelinesCourtney Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03713150819439653811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3551650242422472428.post-35725724711548768222020-02-14T18:37:06.948-05:002020-02-14T18:37:06.948-05:00I love the cardigan worn as a top and I really lik...I love the cardigan worn as a top and I really like the jeans on you too! :)

I find it's easy for the little things to accumulate - I really need to get better at keeping on top of things! I set myself a 50 email limit for my blog inbox but my personal email inbox is a lot larger, haha! I find time and energy for emails is so low, at the end of the day I just want to zone out a bit after spending all day with the kids

Hope you're having a lovely weekend :)

Away From BlueMicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06858487062882928298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3551650242422472428.post-48367779476893556552020-02-14T16:54:34.586-05:002020-02-14T16:54:34.586-05:00Gosh, I can so relate to this! I have about a dozen or so blogs that I keep tabs on these days but when I'm pressed for time or when I'm in one of my down moods I'm awful at catching up with them. Luckily they are still there when I'm ready to read!

Love these pants! I keep seeing similar styles on social media and I'm definitely going to give them a try the next time I go shopping. I have no idea how they'll look on my 5'2 frame. I'm so used to skinny or straight leg! Time for a change lolBeautygirl24https://www.blogger.com/profile/16333427134036573516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3551650242422472428.post-46959069706242541182020-02-14T12:02:31.170-05:002020-02-14T12:02:31.170-05:00Loving that necklace!!! I find if I make a list and then just start checking things off the satisfaction of the checks makes me more likely to finish everything, haha.
https://www.closet-fashionista.com/Closet Fashionistahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17307750287416918321noreply@blogger.com
