Friday Finds Under $50

Summer feels like it's finally in full swing, which I realize is a bit of delayed feeling considering that we are already a week into July! I finally got my first, much needed pedicure of the year, put away the last of my boots and pulled out all my sandals (seriously), and packed away my wool blazers. Not sure why I'd been dragging my feet on getting those things done, and of course I'm already fretting about reversing the process in a few mere months. But rather than torture myself about the inevitable turn of the earth, I thought I might contemplate some fun summer closet additions. I love pieces that are bright and feel fun, my summer style is definitely defined by lots of color!

  2. That gingham dress is so pretty and I love that clutch! I've seen so many cute pieces from Shein recently, but I've never ordered. I think I will have to pull the trigger.

  4. I'm always drawn to lots of color this time of year too. I LOVE that wrap skirt, speaking of great color. Yay for putting away boots and getting out all the sandals. That's the best feeling.

  6. Oh that gingham maxi dress is beautiful, and such a great price! :)

Don't feel bad about just swapping around your wardrobe for the seasons now. I still have a partially unboxed box of winter things with nowhere to put them so I suspect I won't really unbox all my winter stuff at all this year! I need to downsize my wardrobe for sure!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend :)

  7. I feel like because we've been away for so much of this year, my summer really started sometime in March. But because I've been experiencing beautiful warm weather for so long, now that I'm back in Canada and the Canadian summer season has begun in earnest, I'm not appreciating it as much as I should be - and will come to regret that as soon as fall inevitably arrives. I definitely need to inject more summer fun into my wardrobe, and any one - or all! - of these pieces would be a good start.
