Floral Cami Dress

We have arrived at mid-July, which means that every other post on my feed is about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I, once again, will be abstaining, because I know my blog isn't big enough for it to be little more than white noise, and shopping for fall right now is one of the furthest thoughts in my mind. I'm still wholly set in it being mid-July, enjoying simple dresses with fun bags, and at some point getting my butt to the beach. Though I suppose I will be there on Wednesday morning, bright and early for a free yoga class before work. If there was one thing I wish I could condition myself to do, it would be to start my mornings early enough for yoga on a daily basis. That would mean going to bed earlier, which remains difficult as I try to inhabit both Sean's late night schedule and my early morning one.

  1. While my entire schedule is obviously now thrown into total disarray with Eleanor, I used to always get up in the morning with enough time for a quick workout but, on the days when that workout included yoga, I rarely had time to really get into it, and I always regretted that too.

  2. The struggle you describe is one I know all too well - living with a chef while working in the regular professional worlds means somehow trying to straddle schedules. I sometimes think I could be better organized and still do all the things I wanted if I napped from 6 to 8 pm. But somehow I can't bring myself to do it. As for shopping for fall, honestly, I can't even imagine it at this point. I've barely scratched the surface of wearing my summer clothes!

  3. I ordered from the sale but didn't do a post. I also only got short sleeved tops that I legit NEEDED because I had to get rid of some of the best staples I've had in my closet. I do NOT understand trying on long sleeve items right now. EVERYTHING IS making me sweat!!!
