My favorite of the seasons, Spring is full of new life, growth, and fresh starts. Not to say that Spring isn't full of it's ups and downs, volleying between those gorgeous sunny 70° days and the cold wet 40° days, which tend to last all week.

Still, when I see those first daffodils sprout up, all sunny and yellow, it's hard not to smile and be thankful. I was hoping that the trees here would have popped on this day (trying to coordinate with my blouse), but as you can see, they weren't quite there yet. They have since, and I'll be sharing those photos next week. The trees in their pink glory are something I look forward to every year.

  1. That is the nice thing about spring---all the pretty flowers!!
And that shirt is almost like flowers for the colder times!! No---i have no idea what I'm saying except that I love it--ha ha!

  2. As much as I like winter, I do admit that I really enjoy seeing the first blossoming of flowers in spring - there's definitely something about it that puts a smile on my face. And you picked such a perfect top for being amongst some blooming flowers.

  3. Such a pretty look! I love the shade of those jeans!
And I just picked the daffodils from my backyard yesterday since no one else can see them there anyway. hehe

  4. You know, I think a lot of people who, well, for lack of a better description, aren't bloggers, think it's silly the way we chase after things like cherry blossoms, but to be honest, I think it's made me appreciate the best things about every season so much more because I actively look forward to them and seek to enjoy them when they come each year. Your blouse is such a lovely tribute to cherry blossoms even if they weren't around for these photos, but I'm looking forward to seeing what you wore with the blooms in the background, too ;)

  5. I'm the same way- when I see the daffodils, I know there's a light at the end of the winter tunnel, haha. :) Love this look, doll!

  6. Spring is my favorite too--all the flowers and colors just make me so happy!! I love that blouse, the ombre and print is such a pretty combination. It's a pretty contrast with the yellow flowers too!

  7. Great look, my dear! Your shoes are to die for! kisses

  8. I love spring, too, and your top is so pretty!

  9. Oh yes the daffodils - great symbol of spring. Like how you played off of their yellow colour with your red top. Thanks for sharing!

  10. I so know what you mean, but looking at these photos your lovely blouse looks wonderful against those bright yellow daffodils. I find so exciting the change to every season, but I absolutely agree those colder days are way too long here too. I can't wait for shoes, dress and t-shirt weather.

  11. Such a pretty top for spring!! I love the colors.

  12. Absolutely stunning! I love this blouse and the photos.
