Looked like rain

By allowing myself to be happy, I make others in my life happy too.

I thought for sure we were in for a very rainy day, but the sun actually decided to make an appearance instead. Normally I would not see this as an issue at all, but I was looking forward to taking outfit photos with my cute Kate Spade umbrella I got for Christmas!

  1. It's such a cute outfit for a rainy day (even though you didn't get to use the umbrella) - I love the camel jacket.

  3. Lydia, I love that trench! What a fab neutral and the plaid lining is a very nice touch. Also love the buckles on the sleeve. I bet the umbrella is cute! Great outfit.

  6. We hardly get rain, so I don't even have a cute umbrella!!

  7. Ha ha, isn't that always the way it goes! The one time last year that I was really hoping for snow, I got rain instead - of course it was all for a photo opportunity and I should know I can't plan the weather, but still, it was disappointing. I hope we get to see your Kate Spade umbrella soon, but even without it, this classic look is lovely. You know I am biased in favour of neutral looks, though ;)

  11. I will take sunshine any day! I am so sick of the grey we have nonstop right now. That trench is so fabulously classic. I've had a coat like that on my wishlist forever but can't seem to find the perfect one. Love that yours is thrifted!
