Gift Guide: The Hostess

A friend of mine recently let me sample some thyme liqueur and it was amazing. I'm convinced it needs to be a number one ingredient in a holiday cocktail. Other than that, lets face it, you are not going to show up to a christmas party and gift your host an apron or probably any of these other things. At least, I don't think that you will, so it's my fault for calling these hostess gifts. But they are fun things you might want if you were hosting a party of your own, right?

  4. If you visited my house you'd be surprised at the amount of alcohol we have. Seriously we have a bar with at least 70 bottles ranging from tequila to champagne and rum. The funniest thing is that we don't drink !
Its there for entertaining, which we don't do much of these days.. I'd love to add the marble and barwarer set from Target but it would just be decor :(

  5. I have to admit that it's rare that I gift anything other than wine or chocolates when it comes to hostess gifts, and that I really only give them around the holidays, because no one in my circle, including myself, has the space or the inclination to host a lot of non-casual parties. But if I were hosting, I would absolutely need those animal drink stirrers and I am so intrigued by the idea of thyme liqueur that I may just have to hunt some down myself!

  8. If you have a friend that loves to throw parties, you could always give them something from this round up for Christmas. Therefore, they can still be considered hostess gifts.
