Revival

It's been a long time since I've worn this pencil skirt. Last fall/winter I abstained from wearing skirts (and dresses) to work because I didn't feel comfortable at first, and once I was in the denim rut, it was near impossible to break free.

After finally getting out from underneath the endless winter and bare legs became a necessity, I slowly introduced my non-denim workwear to the office. Now that pencil skirts and heels feel more comfortable I've been reviving some old favorites, including this berry colored knit which has not seen the likes of this blog since 2013!

  1. This skirt is a true testament to how long I've been reading your blog, because even though it hasn't made an appearance since 2013, I remember it well! If I'm being honest, it's always been one of my favourites in your pencil skirt collection because of the colour; while of course I'd shy away from it myself, it's so rich and beautiful on you and it pairs perfectly with all things leopard. I'm glad to hear you've gotten more comfortable dressing up for the office even when others don't. I should probably practise that myself at my home office but, well, I do love my yoga pants ;)

  9. I need a magenta or deep purple pencil skirt like yours. And you are working the snow leopard print two days in a row. Once again a stunning bag and necklace too. =))
