A brighter alternative

Since I've been wearing so much denim lately, I thought it was time to switch things up a bit and opt for this bright red pair. No gloves today either, I have a fresh manni (which always puts me in a good mood) to show off, and since temps are in the mid 30's, I'll deal with the cold for a few minutes.

A week from now the sun will be setting at 5 pm! That might sound like a strange thing to be excited about, but longer days mean more opportunities to take outfit photos after work, and in general. I'm really hoping I can soon regain my backlog of outfit photos and get back into my routine of having my posts done over the weekend, rather than the night before.

  15. Just one more hour of daylight can make such a difference, can't it? I have to say, I love seeing you break out these red pants. I was just reminiscing about my red jeans the other day. I didn't wear them often, but when I did they had some moments of true glory. I'm not sure I'd ever invest in another pair, but it was nice living vicariously through you today :)

  18. I can't wait for it to be light enough to take outfit photos after work again! I have a nice backlog of photos, but that is because I change into all my week's worth of outfits over the weekend and take quick photos. It will be nice not to have to do that!I really like the pants you have one and the ones you linked to!

  19. I love this look! Bold colored pants are thing with me right now. I'm desperately in love with green ones, but these red are outstanding! I love how the plaid top mixes in just a touch of red to match. Plus I love the monogram ring!
