Translation

I was a bit curious as to which languages the Kiss Tee was expressing the word kiss in. It took a bit of patience with google translate, but I did find them all. Except "Muah" which threw me, since it is really just a sound and though it's obvious to me now, but I was hung up on it at the time. Also worth nothing, "peto" sans accent in Italian means fart. So maybe don't wear this tee in Italy...

Bisou - French
Kisu - Japanese
Bacio - Italian
Muah - English onomotopeia
Petó - Catalan
Beijo - Portuguese
Filí - Greek
Koss - Icelandic
Beso - Spanish
Hon - Vietnamese

  15. I couldn't help but laugh at this post, at least in part because I'm reading it while wearing my kiss tee and the Italian thing never occurred to me but - you're right! How awful and yet totally hilarious. And thank-you, by the way, for another styling idea for this tee that I love so much. I have yet to pair it with my denim jacket and that will have to change!

  17. I had my Italian teacher translate that for me and when she told me what it meant I felt less sad about missing it on sale. However, I don't think anyone really thinks about that since you wear it so well and everyone will be wondering how to look like you.
