Golden Pineapple

Rejoice! It would seem last years' pineapple print trend is still going to be really big this year. Thus far I've seen the golden fruit on shorts at Loft, on a French Connection tee at TJMaxx, and on a popover at Target. I have not yet seen J.Crew reprise the pineapple, but I suspect it's only a matter of time.

Today I'm keeping the fruit casual with double denim and my wool baseball cap. What do you suppose the cutoff is for wearing a wool cap? Memorial Day? Should we take the (ridiculous) white rule and apply it to wool?

  3. you wear hats so well! I say as long as you're not overheating, you can wear the wool cap whenever you'd like. :)

  11. Although I experimented with it once, I have to admit I didn't quite understand the pineapple trend - until I saw this tee. Bright yellow and green pineapples all over everything aren't really my style. But one cute little gold pineapple? That I love!

  12. You're probably right about the pineapple trend. Apartment Therapy had an article about pineapple themed crafts not to long ago.
As for wool caps, I say if you can wear it comfortably, you should wear it whenever you like.

  17. I love anything with gold in it so of course I love your tee! And baseball caps still look summery to me (even if it's made of wool) so I say keep wearing it!

  18. I love this look - the cap is perfect (In Scotland there would never be a cutoff for a wool cap - it can def be chilly enough all year round...)

  19. I think the cutoff should be a certain temperature. Maybe 60 degrees and below? Love that pineapple tee and your clutch! Such a great casual outfit!

  34. Cute tee and cap. The gray hat is a very versatile color that it would work for all 4 seasons. The pineapple shorts from Loft I saw online, are gorgeous. =)
