Wanderlust: Cape Cod

Each year as the approach to summer quickens, I think, "This will be the year I get together with my best friends and plan a long weekend in Cape Cod." I imagine strolling through the quaint, albeit touristy towns and spending mornings, stretching into long afternoons at the beach.

The vacation shop at the British brand Joules has so many nautically inspired pieces, they would feel perfectly at home in a New England beach town. As such, they have formed this dream vacation wardrobe of mine - navy, stripes, eyelet lace - a reflection of summer in my eyes.

Sayler Floral Swimsuit, $86
Floral Scarf, $35
Striped Sweater, $120
Dani Denim Skirt, $86
Striped Beach Tote, $35
Cotton Underwear, $52
Lottie Polka Dot Sneakers, $60
Flip Flops in Floral and Stripes, $26
Essie Nail Polish in Aruba Blue and Long Stem Roses, $8.50
Avon Sunscreen, $9
Suzanne White Blouse, $105
Mandy Striped Sun Hat, $35

This is a PR collaboration with Joules, but my views and opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting Chic on the Cheap!

  9. I so need that swimsuit in my life, it's fabulous! A cute one piece is so hard to find but I'm going to have to check out the selection from Joules. Although sadly, I won't be getting to Cape Cod anytime soon, I'm sure I'll still find somewhere to wear a bathing suit this summer :)

  13. Fun in the suuuuuuun! I hope that your Cape Cod dream comes true, Lydia. I do, I do! <3

I've been searching for cute one pieces all my life. I've found a few but they're all so pricy! I just want a swimsuit for under $50 that I can wear the one or two times I actually visit the pool, haha.
