Pop of mint

No sooner than I brought home this vintage purse, the strap broke. One of the metal clasps just snapped. But after a bit of googling a new set is on it's way to me and I will attempt a repair. Until then I can still carry the bag as a clutch, and navy and grey are still my two favorite colors to pair with mint.

Hope everyone who celebrated had a wonderful Easter weekend! I certainly did, I baked up a storm with my Mother, making our traditional cookies, cream pie, ricotta pie, and even French macarons with some help from Meg. Sugar overload? Yes, but in such a good way.

  13. It sucks that the purse broke but it does look awesome as a clutch - and it looks perfect with this outfit. The pop of mint really makes it.

  14. What a shame about the strap on that purse because it is such a beautiful piece! Although I must say, I would never have guessed it wasn't intended to be a clutch, so maybe it isn't the end of the world ;) Mint and navy are a natural combination in book. And gray goes with everything. But adding a little touch of snakeskin on your heels? That was genius.

  19. I'm so jealous that you got to bake with your mom. I live so far away from my family. I miss them during the holidays. That's a shame about the strap. With your DIY skills, I'm sure you'll be able to fix it.
