Spokesgirl for spring

Hard to imagine that just a few short days ago this was a totally appropriate thing to wear, and I even dared to try some nude tights. I've decided they don't look bad, but also don't provide much warmth.

I also realized as I was typing out the outfit details for this post that I am basically a walking ad for Gap, and I'm okay with that.

  1. What a difference a few days can make in the temperature right? A week ago we were in the 60's and today the high is like 30. You look amazing. I love that gold tassel belt.

  3. Such a cute look! And yes, so weird that nude tights don't provide the same warmth of other colors...maybe we just make ourselves think that?

  9. A walking ad for Gap - I had to smile. Every once in a while I find myself leading the house head-to-toe in Zara (where I commit most of my fashion-related offenses) and think what great advertising they get from me. And I'm totally okay with it. As long as you love what you wear, that's what's important. And goodness, what's not to love about this outfit? You've reminded me of just how much I need a good denim jacket, this one is perfect on you!

  11. I can't wait to be annoyed with how hot it is outside and able to sport bare legs all the time. I love this look so much Lydia! The dress, belt, loafers and bag are great together!

  12. Love that dress! I often have trouble finding tights that match my skin tone.

Maybe someone at Gap HQ will see this post and ask to sponsor some items! ;)

  16. I love this casual outfit! Really, sometimes I overthink my outfits and seeing inspiration pics like yours bring me back to the magic of basic layering. Also, what a great bag (I had my eye on it as well, and the color is just beautiful).

  25. I've never shopped GAP too much, but you make it look so stylish. I used to be that way with Anthropologie, I had so many skirts and shoes from them, lol. That golden belt is a gorgeous piece. :)

  26. I love to wear nude stockings because sometimes nothing else really goes and it's too cold out to not cover your bum! I think you could have gone one shade lighter on yours. If you look at the difference in skin tone on your hands and arms compared to your legs, you will notice your legs look a tiny bit too tanned for winter ;)
