Made for walking

For most of the summer, if I'm not going to work, I live in my flip flops. Of course I've heard time and again that the flip flop is pretty much the worst shoe for your feet, which is why I was delighted to hear about Orthaheel.

Designed by a podiatrist, Orthaheel sandals actually help eliminate pain in the feet, knees, legs and lower back. They have thick soles, good arch support, and nice soft straps. Plus, for a casual weekend look, they are actually pretty cute!

I'm participating in Orthaheel's Summer Style pinterest contest, and the blogger with the most repins wins! If you'd like to help me out, please repin my photo here. Check out the other bloggers participating too!

  25. This is so cute! I love the yellow against the red. I must admit I live in either flip-flops (or preferably just go barefoot) in the summer when not at work. :)

  30. About four years ago, my doctor banned me from wearing flip flops and ballet flats - I have a chronic foot injury from my dance days and apparently flat shoes are worse for it even than heels! Hence why my shoes are always sky high. I miss the convenience of being able to just run around casually in flip flops, though - and it sounds like Orthaheel might be the answer! Thanks for introducing these, I must admit I'm pleasantly surprised by how cute they are :)

  32. A flip flop that's good for your feet? Totally amazing. I never wear flip flops any more because of my shin splints... that and I hate having dirty feet. I personally can't wear flip flops in New York. Street are too dirty!
