Newbury Street

The other week I went to Boston for the day. Spent some time strolling through the Boston Garden, shopping on Newbury Street, and then walking up to the North End for an Italian dinner, complete with cannoli from Mike's Pastry for dessert.

Newbury Street is kind of like my dream street; the one where I'd live if I won the Powerball. The old brick buildings filled with cute shops and restaurants with little outdoor patios for dining in the summer... I'd buy a whole building so I could live in part of it and rent out the rest and I'd never have to worry about money again.

  35. Aw, Lyddie! It sounds like you had a most splendid day. The image of the street you dream of living on does sound rather lovely--I can only hope that one day you attain a lovely little apartment on it, or at least very close by. :) But at least you're close enough to visit such a darling and bustling place!

I adore that aqua color. You would totally match my dorm room right now!

Alas, I am fine with just strolling through Newbury Street and looking at the architecture and the endless stores there like Burberry, Armani, Lonchamp... etc etc. Such beautiful photos and outfit. You definitely captured the essence of that part of Boston.

  38. I've never been to Boston, which is one of the many great travel-related tragedies of my life, but I have dreams of living somewhere that looks like Newbury Street... the red brick row houses just kill me. You look so perfectly, genuinely happy in these shots. And the green of your dress is just the perfect colour for you!
