Spring color block

Since I can wear denim to the office on pretty much any old day I feel like, I sometimes ignore these real, proper office pants.

Still wearing my denim on top though! But when paired with a blazer, everything seems perfectly work appropriate.

  10. The hat and jacket are just perfect!

Random question - I think you said you prefer ball head tripods. I'm shopping for my first one and see a well priced Ravelli tripod with adjustable pistol grip head that I'll likely get. Do you think I should just splurge for a good ball head grip (ugh there are so many!)

  16. I love flexible work dress codes - unfortunately people usually dress down and make efforts to go even lower.
They throw in torn jeans and flip flops or faded t shirts…
Like you i could come to work in jeans, but i dont, i make an effort - I know you do too, because i see what you wear to work. I really like this, specially the hat, it makes it so elegant.

  17. I feel the same way...sometimes I neglect wearing pants or skirts because I can wear jeans at work. I really should start using my work pants more often before it gets way too warm!! Lovely colors and a great way to spruce up a casual work outfit but still being professional!

  18. The blazer really dresses up the denim! Love this look...will have to remember this as I could wear this at work, too! What kind of office do you work in?

  21. You can wear denim to the office any day of the week? You lucky lady! I always felt weirdly pressured by casual Friday, as if I had to try even harder to impress because people only saw me in jeans once a week. I digress... good for you for keeping your outfits creative in spite of the fact that denim is allowed. You wear white pants so well. And that straw fedora is all kinds of awesome :)

  22. This is a beautiful look. I love those easy breezy pants on you!

Technically our office is pretty laid back, but I feel too guilty to wear denim!

  25. Blazers kind of do magically make everything more professional. Even the most unexpected of things!

I do love how bold your blazer is here, though. It looks so good against an otherwise pretty muted down color palette. :)

  30. Ugh, you've reminded me that I still have to find white pants and a chambray shirt. When is it going to happen?

This shirt and blazer are so good together. I think it's the shape. In fact, the shape of this outfit is just so good. Love it.
