Worth repeating

Some outfits are just too good to not wear again, and sometimes I get stuck when styling a piece and decide a slight variation on what worked before is the best way to go.

What's worse is that I don't think I've worn either the dress or the jacket since I last wore them together... and that was over a year ago.

I think I'm in need of some style inspiration for both of these pieces!

  1. I actually am in a similar situation and I can't get out of a style "slump" with two pieces of clothing that I always wear together.

It is so lovely on you though!

  2. I have a few pieces that, for some reason, I only wear when paired with each other even though they're perfectly versatile enough to be worn in a lot more ways. I suppose I'm just opting for easy way of creating looks with them...

  4. If it works, you should roll with it. Loving your shoes too.

I think this dress would look great with black opaque tights and a black blazer. I love black and white for fall. Just an idea :)

  5. You did a great job styling it! There are so many options you can do for both pieces. The jacket would also look great with pants. The dress would look great with a color jacket or black jacket and dark tights. Fabulous clutch!

  6. Well I do love that combo, especially with the sassy leopard shoes!! I think both pieces can be worn in lots of ways, but I can see why you put them together--they really balance each other out beautifully!

  7. To repeat an outfit is human...lol. I always think I shouldn't post a combination I've worn before, but that's sort of crazy. If it's gorgeous, rock it again. Plus, most of us won't remember unless you tell us :P

    You look lovely as always.

  8. Ohh, Lyddie, that dress is much too pretty! I hope you wear it more. I think it would look very nice with those studded fold over black boots of yours and some tights and a leather jacket. ;)

I am forever envious of all your bracelets. You're the bracelet stacking QUEEN.

  24. I love this :D And yea, I have the same problem sometimes, I have a way I like to wear something and get stumped on how to wear it with other pieces. I would try the top with jeans and heels :D Maybe a long sleeve sweater under it
