Spikes and Paisley

This inspiration for this pairing came from Jessica - her taste is impeccable!
I'm very happy with this spiked necklace, and I'm looking forward to further experimentation with layering it. I think there is a good deal of potential there.

I have to admit I am not a fan of spikes but this necklace is perfect and it matches so unexpectedly well with the outfit... i love it when unexpected works :)

I like the spikes (edgy) paired with the pretty girly paisley top. It's a nice mix. The white jacket looks great with the blue top too.

Ooh this IS a good pairing. I love Jessica's blog too. I love the mix of edgy and feminine, and this look balances the two perfectly. (And keep rocking those sandals girl! It's been too cold here, but I would if I could.)

TJ Maxx seriously has the best stuff. I have a hard time finding clothes but I do always manage to spot shoes and home accessories galore. Thank you for turning me onto that place.

That necklace is rather fierce, and I like how it combines girly diamonds with tough spikes. Contrast, yeah!

And how you paired it with such a sleek outfit makes it even better. You stylish lady, you!

Squee! Love it on you! I really need more patterned shirts in my life.

Spiked necklaces are really best done with rhinestones, aren't they? :-)

Happy Friday!

I love everything about this outfit from the perfect white blazer to the hints of cobalt blue with your shirt and bag!! Simply lovely and that necklace is a great staple piece.

I like your spike necklace too! Your take on black and white here feels so modern with the blue paisley... sometimes I think black and white and prints can look a bit stodgy, but this is very fresh!

The spikes look great on top of the paisley...they are toned down a bit and not so in your face...but still edgy.
