Like Ships

It seems I have resigned myself to wearing tights again, much as I was trying to avoid them (as evidenced by my week of denim).
I know I can't really expect truly warm, beautiful weather for several more weeks, but after the teasers last month I'm simply not ready to go back.

  7. a lovley outfit, i love this blouse!!! old navy, such a pity in germany all these gorgeous shops don't exist... thanks for your comment yesterday, I hope too that I'll buy some of the things! but I'm not quite sure about the pleated skirt - how will it look like after washing it? do you have any experience with that?

  8. Great print on that blouse! Old Navy surprises me sometimes. I am sure bare legs will be on their way soon - just a little more time!

  9. I think your tights look appropriate with the outfit. The whole looks still says "spring".

  12. I'm so glad you picked up that top - it's so fun! The more I look at it, the more I want one for myself. Although, billowy sleeves look terrible on me and I'd probably bring it to the tailor to be altered into a sleeveless shell. Might be worth it though ...

Anyway, you look great! It's been chilly here too and yet I'm still ditching my tights. After our vacation, I can't stand the thought of winter gear again!

  13. Loving the outfit ! :D
I never even stopped wearing tights because I knew I would get annoyed when it got cold again, haha :p

  25. Even with the tights you still look lovely and springy. At least Connecticut springy which is really like a winter in Texas.

  28. I'm crossing my fingers for you that these will be the last tights of the season. I'm hoping I won't need to get mine out again, but who knows. Your pretty blouse is reminding me that I need to check out Old Navy ASAP!

  33. I wish tights weren't necessary for me, either. I'm so over them. Unfortunately, "tights weather" in Oregon can sometimes last through May or June :(

  34. I just saw this shirt at Old Navy :) I love how you wear often carry themes throughout your entire outfit-- the sailboat shirt, chain necklace, starfish ring...
