What if there is no tomorrow? There wasn't one today!

Happy Groundhog Day!
I'm sure you've all heard the good news, Phil didn't see a shadow this morning, so that means it will be an early Spring.

Of all the silly holidays in existence, (Arbor Day, Presidents Day, Zucchini Day,Valentines Day) Groundhog day might be my favorite because there is a rodent predicting if I will get an early spring, or have to endure six more weeks of winter. (Who doesn't love rodent weathermen?) And then there is Bill Murray. Much like many of the beloved Christmas movies that I'll happily rewatch every year, Groundhog Day gets the same treatment. Because I think it is brilliant and funny, and a reminder that it doesn't matter what you have, or what you know that will make you a better person, but how good you are towards others that matters the most.

Early Spring
Well early spring, I am ready for you! Yellow Week is certainly a testament to that.

  5. I'm totally with you on Groundhog Day...it's the Christmas Story of February. :)

Also, I never fully understood why not seeing his shadow would mean early spring. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

  20. Zucchini Day??? That's one I've never heard of before and need to google right away. I didn't even know it was groundhog's day until like 7pm. (Not like it matters to us down here if spring comes early or not, it's pretty much back to summer already...) Groundhog's Day is one of my favorite movies! I need to watch that now, make it a tradition.

  27. I'm embarrass to say that I didn't even watch that movie yesterday! And then I battled the blizzard aftermath to meet a friend out at a bar for trivia night ... and there were TWO questions about the movie that neither one of us could remember. Shameful.

As always, I love your outfit. The shoes are perfect! I wish spring would hurry it up!
