Once again

I definitely think I have developed a thrift store addiction. I had to go the other day; it was compulsory, after deciding not to go, I found myself en route.

The thrift store inventory is constantly in flux. New things arrive every day, and you never know what you might find. I am always driven by the hope that I might someday find the holy grail of thrifting -- that pristine vintage designer item for a few dollars which also fits perfectly. I don't even know what it will be, just that I am going to keep looking for it. Possibly forever, but the hope will continually draw me back.

And in the meantime, there are lots of other lovely little things to find; such as a pale pink sweater from Banana Republic, a burnt sienna v-neck from Ann Taylor Loft, and a thin pink leather belt, also from BR. All for the terribly reasonable sum of $6. Photos once I've gotten them washed :)

Belted blazer

It's really getting too cold to be out coat-less. Even for a few minutes, I just snap the photos as quickly as possible and dart back inside.

Tomorrow's planned outfit might be my favorite this week; very colorful, and I'm wearing the necklace that matches these earrings!

Oooh I love this outfit!!
and I can't wait to see tomorrows :D
I know what you mean...I always want to go to goodwill and never do...because I think "what if they have the PERFECT item or something that I've been looking for forever" but most of the time I'm a good girl and resist...haha

wow, I love how this outfit looks on you, the belted blazer flatters your tiny waist and the colors go so well together, I think gray suits you a lot.

I've said it before, but man, I really like that skirt. Is it a knit? The belt/blazer/scarf combo is also a winner. Do you wear a big puffy coat over this? I'd like to see what kind of stylish coat you wear in cold weather.

Purple and Grey! You are a genius-- I need that color combo in my life.

Thrifting is the best! That reminds me, I haven't gone in a few weeks.

I love thrift stores. I think at least half my wardrobe are from thrift stores. Love to go shopping and come home with a whole bag of "new" stuff to wear for so much less $. And I love your purple too by the way!

Ahh! The thrift store definitely lures me back and back and back. I know what you mean. Someday, I'll find something so amazing... and, like you pointed out, in the meantime, I'm more than content with the odds and ends that come home with me for reasonable prices!
I love these shades of charcoal and purple. So pretty!

Wow, that is a gorgeous outfit!!
I don't know how you get more than one item of clothing from a thrift store for $6. It just wouldn't happen here. Maybe for one garment.

You've captured the reason I could go back to same thrift day after day. My shopping partner (DH) doesn't quite get this, as the turnover in things he is interested in isn't quite so quick. I love the blouse and blazer and belt in this. But stay warm!

And wow, what great finds for $6!

I love your outfit, and I do hope you share more thrift finds. As a society, I believe we are wasteful and always looking for the next, best, greatest . . . The big find will happen, but it's all the little finds that count!
