The Lucky look

I had put a big flag on this look in the December issue of Lucky, since it was one of the looks which was both adorable and easily recreated.

(Actually, all three are adorable, I might do them too!)
the Lucky look

One of my coworkers told me my outfit was like a reverse Pippy Longstockings. So yeah...

striped shirt

The Rundown
Shirt Gap - Blazer Gap - Skirt TJMaxx - Tights Kohls - Bag Thrifted - Booties Madden Girl - Earrings TJMaxx
red tights

And earlier this week Shey from Modesty is Pretty did the outfit too!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks for the shout out, I think the looks just had to go with the wine-colored tights (I'm obsessed) and I will go and get me a pair. I thought about doing the other looks too! And yes they are very easy to replicate. Wonder if anyone else will join us? =D

I seriously want this skirt from the article now! It reminds me of the one Emily from cupcakes and cashmere wore....

I love your outfit recreations. It makes them very doable with already owned items.

I love your interpretation of this look! I saw this in Lucky and loved it but thought, "When am I ever going to have a ruffly skirt like that?!?" Now I know I can wear a regular skirt instead (duh, right?)

Oooh, I really like your take on this!!~ so very very lovely, I do love those red tights and the blazer with the stripes. I wish I still had my skirt like that. It unfortunately unraveled at a spot and never wanted to end and and.. rest in peace, skirt.

I think I need to try this. :D

It's cool how you have such a big wardrobe that you really can recreate practically anything you see in a magazine. Next do the one on the right with the turtleneck!

I loved all of those Lucky looks too and you pulled this one off perfectly! I also like that you choose a regular black skirt instead of the tutu one the models are rocking, it makes the overall look more practical!

How fun! I always love what I see in magazines, but never actually remember to pull them out when I'm looking for outfit inspiration. You did a great job!
