Shoes from Piperlime

I placed my first order from Piperlime, the online shoe store that is tied to the Gap trio. I’ve browsed their offerings in the past, but never found the prices all to desirable.

At any rate, these cut away t-straps by Kenneth Cole Reaction, that I’d been wish list stalking for months went on sale at Piperlime for $40 with free shipping and returns – half as much as anywhere else.

Then, I found these ivory colored pumps with gold accents by Seychelles for $50, and again they were $10 to $30 less than Shoes.com, DSW, and even Amazon.

I was instantly smitten with their antique look, the cream leather with metallic sheen, the fan shaped gold cutout and straps, and the covered heels. Once this snow melts I’d love to wear them with a pair of dark skinny jeans, a white top, this yellow scarf from AE, and this grey ruffle coat by Daisy Fuentes, which was originally purchased for my sister, but she thinks it’s ugly, so now it’s mine.

Almost as much as I’m loving my new shoes, I loved how they arrived – in a white box with the insides covered in little green limes; each shoe box wrapped in brown tissue sealed with a lime, and a little gift card from the company, telling me I should expect everyone I see to be envious of my new shoes.
